Gov. Sanders makes appointments to boards and commissions


Gov. Sarah Sanders made several appointments to boards and commissions including the appointments of five new justices of the peace.

Gov. Sarah Sanders made appointments to the following boards and commissions.

Arkansas County Quorum Court:
Mark Derden, of Stuttgart, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 7 of Arkansas County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Larry Gunnell.

Wade Hosman, of Stuttgart, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 8 of Arkansas County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Brandee Weaver.

Clark County Quorum Court:
David Forthman, of Arkadelphia, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 6 of Clark County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Mark Overturf.

Pope County Quorum Court:
Mary Metz-Blaylock, of London, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 6 of Pope County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Jamie Jackson.

Searcy County Quorum Court:
Michelle Hinchey, of Marshall, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 1 of Searcy County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Ronald Ragland.
